With thirty
years combined experience in the restaurant business, Joni and Denise share the belief that quality is in the details.
Joni has been obsessed with salt all her life. As the executive chef at 'Balboa Steakhouse' on Sunset Strip,
people came to taste her Herb Grey salt on the dry aged steaks. At 'Le Dome' she artfully paired Hawaiian Red Alea
and Maldon salts with farmer's market vegetables and locally grown ingredients.
Denise was event coordinator
for some of the biggest names in Hollywood and was responsible for magnificent parties all over town. She's also an accomplished
professional photographer ~ her photos are plastered all over this salty site. Joni and Denise both left the restaurant world
to pursue their love of sea salts and great food. Showcasing the beautiful work of Salt Artisans from around the world. You
really can taste the love.
